Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. To start a return, you can contact us at If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. This includes juicy targets like Howlrunner, Wampa, O-Leader and Palpy, and it also includes all those things that make shooting him all the more painful like FCS, Expose and Opportunist. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, do your best not to lose your shields. I think the perfect summary for my opinion would be something like this:
Quickdraw x wing upgrade#
I also think that moving last might be interesting to try, especially when combined with PTL, EU and that new tech thing that allows boosts/barrel rolls when stressed.įCS definitely seems to be the single best upgrade to have on him, as it allows him to buff as many of his attacks as he wants (up to 4 in certain situations!). The idea with this kind of build is that your opponent doesn't want to shoot QD in it. I personally want to fly him (got him yesterday, hence the "want to") with fcs, maybe expose/opportunist or something that makes him tankier. (take that, dead mans switch!) Others think baffles are the only way to play him, because they want triggering him to be in their hands, not their opponents. I personally think baffles is a mistake, since hurting yourself is always a bad idea. Options like that are well worth a damage to yourself, and are so rare in this game that they're not typically at the forefront of your opponent's mind. At PS9, you should have a good idea about if you need to spend a hull to arc dodge after an S-loop, or Focus/TL to finish someone off. You've got to think of her as a mechanism to deliver as many 4-dice Focus/Reroll attacks as possible, and Baffles helps a lot with that, letting you take your red moves and keep your actions open. Baffles are still good after shields are gone, too.
Used this way, I like Baffles better than FCS, because stuff gets killed so quickly that I don't tend to get much in the way of followup shots. The other squad can go after Quickdraw, getting extra damage themselves, or they go after the other ships, letting Quickdraw start self-damaging at close range to put massive piles of damage into stuff. I'll have two ships that are better in the end game, and I'll put Quickdraw slightly flanking, so she'll avoid getting all of the opposing squad shooting at her. The Baffles trick is not my go-to move, but it a thing that is so powerful situationally that I find it hard to let go of. I've played her with PTL/Baffles, Rage/Baffles, and Predator/Baffles (all +/- Mk2 Engines as points allow), and overall, I think I like PTL/Baffles the best.
Quickdraw x wing how to#
How should quickdraw be used? Have you figured out how to play him? Let me know. But even as flanker/ace he hardly suffer turrets and focus fire.
Maybe i should just flank with him, without trying to get behind my enemy (like vader, Fel and other aces do). Then i tried to fly him more isolated as an ace, but the dial is really restricting and with no EU the ship is really slow. The damage output is great, but he often dies after 1-2 shots. The problem with this is that the ship isn't tanky at all (cause of the 2 green dice and no possibility take evade actions). I tried a few games to roll him slow and just roll into my opponent trying to get a double tap r1 shot and then fly past enemies. Despite his PS is high, the dial and not having EU on a high ps ship makes it hard to play it like a arc-dodger. My question here is, i can't really figure out how quickdraw should be played. I tried rage+baffle+TwmkII, ptl+fcs+shield upgrade, Vi+fcs-TwmkII (and with palpshuttle, 3xAcebuilds, 2Ace+support). Hey guys, i was trying ] recently and i flew him for a few games with different setups.
